OEM plastic basepads are lightweight at around 3g, but the Overwatch Precision Glock OEM basepad weighs 24g allowing the magazine to drop freely during speed reloading. Each of the 4 sides allows a solid purchase in the cases where a malfunction-induced magazine strip is required. Retention is achieved through the OEM locking plate along with the rear stainless steel screw cap that ensures a solid lock on the magazine.
