The Forward Controls Design AR-15 Extended Takedown Pins in Flat Dark Earth are an essential component of your rifle that have been improved in one simple way to make your life easier. If you takedown your rifle for transport, storage, or simply just change out your uppers a lot, a pair of extended takedown pins can make this process a whole lot easier. The 17-4 PH stainless steel pins are extended on the left side of the receiver giving you more leverage to push them out without needing to use the tip of a bullet or other tool.

Note: May not be compatible with some PDW-style stocks with bars that overlap the takedown pin.
