Geissele Automatics Airborne AR-15 Abidextrous Charging Handle
Details
The Geissele Automatics Airborne AR-15 Charging Handle (ACH) is a fully ambidextrous, dual-levered, gas-busting charging handle developed at the request of an elite military unit known for its expertise in aerial insertions.
Features:
- Ambidextrous, dual-levered design
- Machined from a solid block of 7075-T6 aluminum
- Dual-contoured, checkered lever surface for gloved use
- Shortened levers reduce snag points and work well with low-profile optics
- Raised rear lip redirects gas from suppressed or short-barreled rifles
- Black hardcoat anodized finish
The shortened levers keep a lower profile than the Super Charging Handle's levers, reducing snag points and making room for low-profile optics, while the raised rear lip helps direct gas away from the shooter's face on suppressed or short-barreled rifles.
Geissele Automatics was established in 2004 to build high-quality, reliable triggers for competition, starting with the Hi-Speed National Match trigger. That trigger's success led the Department of Defense to request a select-fire version for United States Special Operations, and Geissele later brought a semi-automatic version to the civilian market for law enforcement and personal protection.
