The Geissele Super Modular MK8 in black is an ultra-light purpose-built free float handguard that keeps a compact AR-15 build running efficiently without adding unnecessary weight to the front end. At 10.6 ounces for a 9.3-inch platform in 7000-series aluminum, the MK8 delivers Geissele's rigid lockup in a weight-conscious package suited for patrol, competition, and everyday carry builds.

The MK8 is a 9.3-inch free-floating AR-15 handguard designed for compact mid-length configurations that need a lightweight, rigid rail with M-LOK versatility and Geissele's proprietary barrel nut system.

M-LOK slots on five surfaces serve double duty — providing accessory mounting positions while also functioning as ventilation to dissipate heat and reduce overall rail weight. A full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail handles optics, sights, and magnifiers across the full 9.3-inch span. The included proprietary barrel nut increases surface contact with the receiver, improving accuracy and ensuring repeatable zero when the handguard is removed and reinstalled for maintenance.

Compatible with all mil-spec AR-15 uppers. Includes the barrel nut. Note: barrel nut wrench is not included.
