This aluminum hand stop has an extremely aggressive front texture to ensure that it bites into a barricade, allowing you to have a much more stable shooting platform. Combine this barricade hand stop with rail panels and you have a much more ergonomic handguard setup. The Mod 2 barricade is also reversible if you want to use it more like an angled grip.
