The Zastava ZPAP92 Alpha Tactical is the most fully equipped configuration of the M92 series — factory-built with the SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable brace, Booster muzzle device, and optic rail on the dust cover already installed, backed by Zastava's 1.5mm receiver and bulged trunnion upgrades that address the known weakness points of the original M92 design.

The Zastava ZPAP92 Alpha is a semi-automatic AK pistol chambered in 7.62x39mm, built on a 1.5mm stamped steel receiver with a forged bulged trunnion, blued finish, and a 10-inch cold hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel with Booster-style muzzle device.

The bulged trunnion — a reinforced receiver front trunnion with added material at the stress concentration points — directly addresses the cracking failures seen in earlier thin-trunnion M92 variants, making the ZPAP92 substantially more durable under sustained fire than its predecessors. The chrome-lined barrel resists corrosion and wear from sustained fire more effectively than unlined alternatives, and the cold hammer-forging process produces a barrel bore with superior dimensional consistency. The Booster muzzle device improves cycling reliability by increasing backpressure at the gas system, compensating for the shorter dwell time of the 10-inch barrel. The hinged dust cover rail accepts Picatinny-compatible optics and red dots without a side-mount adapter. Krinkov-style rear sight and post front sight are factory standard. The properly heat-treated fire control group and corrosion-resistant hard nickel-molybdenum bolt carrier ensure consistent ignition and reliable cycling. Wood handguards complete the classic M92 appearance. The SBA3 ships installed on a buffer tube adapter at the rear of the receiver. One 30-round bolt-hold-open magazine is included.
