The Faxon Firearms Match Series Gunner Complete AR-15 Upper Receiver in .338 ARC at 9" is built from the receiver up for this cartridge, giving you the shortest path from a stripped lower to a running .338 ARC pistol or SBR.

Standard AR-15 uppers with 5.56 feed ramps aren't engineered for .338 ARC's case geometry, and the 1:5 twist here is matched specifically to the heavier projectiles the cartridge is built around. The adjustable gas block paired with a pistol-length gas tube gives you the dwell-time control needed to tune for suppressed use, host variation, and ammo selection on this compact 9" build.

Because this 9" barrel measures under 16", this complete upper is intended only for an AR pistol or a legally registered short-barreled rifle — attaching it to a standard rifle lower without the correct configuration violates federal law.
